Do The Creep

I get really bored on study leave....

These are the products used:

6 types of eyeliner for the eyes..
Collection 2000
Eyeko
L'Oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss
ELF Cream Eyeliner
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk' - for the white part of the eyes
Eyeko Electric eyes duo pencil in 'Electric Blue'

Face..
MAC blush in 'Pinch Me' (very deep pinky/red)
MAC Lipstick in 'Saint Germain' (bright, barbie wearable pink)

So there's totally loads of things I could have done to make it better but this was just the result of several hours of boredom..

What's in my makeup bag!?

I personally love watching videos on youtube and blogs about what's in your makeup bag, so here is mine :)

I got my makeup bag for Christmas and I love it!

These are the brushes I use everyday
ELF powder brush for foundation
MAC 187SE for my cream blush
ELF kabuki brush for powder

This foundation is alright. It's not the best I've used, and it is far from the worst. From bourjois, I much prefer the Healthy Mix one, which I have as well. However, this one is very similar apart from this one makes you more dewy and has slightly less coverage.

I use the Nivea Creme on my nose and T-Zone as I'm very dry skinned there. This works a treat just before applying makeup and you only need a tiny bit which is why I have such a cute mini one!

I LOVE my Benefit Erase Paste, it's an expensive buy, but it's worth it. I bought mine from QVC and it was around £4/5 cheaper than if you buy it from the official Benefit website or if you buy it from a Benefit counter. It's got amazing coverage and the colour match for my skintone is amazing!

For powder, I use the MAC Skin finish natural, it's got great coverage and mattes out my face very nicely, as like I said before, the foundation I'm using at the moment is very dewy.

I'm in love with this topshop cream blush, Nutmeg, so much that I'm tempted to try out more colours in the range although I adore this colour already! I went against the popular favourite of Neon Rose (I think!?) and I'm very glad I did as this compliments my fair skintone very nicely :)

I use a MAC paintpot in Painterly for my eyeshadow base. As I'm at school, I don't wear eyeshadow everyday so I use this to brighten my eyes. It works very nicely. I also have Bare Study (the more popular of the two) which I think is no where near as good as painterly as it just doesn't have the same kind of lasting power.

For mascara I'm currently using the AVON Supershock, it's ok, I will definitely not be repurchasing as it's not a great mascara however it is a cheaper one so that may be why. It does work nicely if you layer it a thousand times but I've found since doing that I've used so much so quickly it's already run out.

However, the AVON supershock gel eyeliner is a different story, it's a gel eyeliner in a pencil form and works amazingly. It has an all day lasting power, works amazingly on the water line and is extremely black.

If i'm doing winged eyeliner, I'm using the extreme felt tip liner by Collection 2000, considering the cheap price, it's a really good buy and lasts a long time.

Recently, I was sorting out my makeup collection and came across this, from Primark. My initial thoughts were to chuck it away however I tried it and it really does work! I'm trying to thicken my eyebrows at the moment so I can reshape them (or at least try) and it's working really well to keep them neat.

This is the random junk I have at the bottom!

Hope you enjoyed! xxx

These are a few of my favourite things......

This is what my Sunday has been all about so far.

001. That lovely taupe and silver journal.
It's not a diary. Let me get that out there first off. I don't write to 'kitty' or whatever the 'norm' name is for a diary. I would just like to say that as I find diary usually (please don't take this the wrong way at all!) consist of girls (please, I'm TRYING not to stereotype, but I mean.. come on..) stretching out all their thoughts and feelings to near impossible, so that they have something to write in there every single day. This is totally not what mine is about. It simply says what I did that day, and includes memories, photos etc. It's just something to look back at when I'm older. Anyways, I have been writing that today, and reading what I have written so far. It's so weird to think that it's really only been a month of 2011 but it seems to have involved so much drama and happenings already! crazy if you ask me!

002. The nylon Street View book. Wow. It can amuse me for hours on end, as I look at the pictures I've already seen over and over. I love comparing the different outfits from the different countries. It's weird how everyone calls their style "European" from all over the world. I love to steal ideas from this book, as unoriginal as that sounds. It also sometimes tells you where the owner of the clothes has bought the clothes from. I always take a peek look at the brands current collection when I see a piece of clothing I like!

003. My phone. It moves with me wherever I go. Awful, isn't it.

004. My hand made style book! It's where all my magazine cut outs live, and all my fashion related wants (and most likely needs) of the current months. I'm very organised with my books.

An inside to my Sunday,
Much Love, K xo

Sunday Face #1

Today I have been a bit of a sporty girl, and have had 1hr30 hockey practice, for a new hockey club which I am extremely excited about! I love hockey so being able to play it inside and outside of school is fabby!
I went shopping briefly with my mum for some bits and bobs, mainly for her. But we got some more bagels and had a little treat when we got in! Philadelphia, cherry tomatoes and bagels are THE best! It's most definitely official!
I have then done absolutely nothing else all day. Such is the life on a Sunday!

Much love, K xo

3 new purchases to start off a new blog...

After a very long leave from blogging, I have decided to return. I deleted all my old, unread posts, as they were really quite embarrassing. And, of course, unread.
As some of you may know, I deleted my youtube for many reasons, p
artly due to people at school finding out (petty I know) but also because I felt obliged to buy so many products, clothes included, so I'd have hauls, etc. After Christmas, I told
myself that I'd buy no makeup in January. This was because I'd gotten a lot for Christmas, and I'd really started to notice how much money I'd spent on practically unused products. Money wasted, in my eyes.
Anyway, on the 6th of Feb I decided I was very much in need of some basic essentials for makeup, which was basically stuff I'd slowly been running out of during Jan. So therefore, I present you with the only 3 makeup items I have bought since Christmas! And, tbh, 2 of them aren't really makeup!
I'm really proud of myself, the money I've saved is really good,
which meant I had money to spend on other stuff, and just save up. Hope
you enjoy. K xo

The 3 purchases!
Face wipes, (I'd run my stack of them out through Jan)
17 Nail Varnish Rose Manicure
Bourjois, 10 hour sleep effect foundation

I apologize for the horrid nails, I have no excuse!
The nail varnish is sheer, which is no surprise given the cheap price tag (I'm thinking it was about £3 if my memory is right)

The foundation goes on very nicely and, if left for maybe 30 secs, has very high coverage, and thick consistency before applying to the face. (I'd only noticed this as I was waiting for my camera to finally take a decent picture of it!)

Much Love.
